Bruce Routman is a graduate of Dartmouth College and has a master's degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma City University. Prior to his career as a home builder and Realtor® in Colorado, Bruce worked for US multinational companies in Asia, and was based in Tokyo, Japan for 7 years. Bruce has been a fluent speaker of Japanese and Chinese.

Bruce has lived in Colorado for more than 20 years, and his two children live in Honolulu, Hawaii and Denver, Colorado. Bruce is an avid golfer and skier. He lives in the Black Forest area of Colorado Springs, not far from the US Air Force Academy.
